Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Junior Tennis Classic Hits the Courts March 28-29

SHREVEPORT, La. (Feb. 19, 2026) – For the third consecutive year, the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl will host youth tennis players from across the country for the annual Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Junior Tennis Classic. The USTA National Level 5 Tournament will be hosted on Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29, at Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club and various tennis venues across the Shreveport-Bossier City area.
The tournament features singles and doubles draws for Boys and Girls in the 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U age groups. The main host will be Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club, but matches for the two-day tournament will also be played at Querbes Tennis Center and Bossier Tennis Center.

The Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Junior Tennis Classic has been a highly successful tournament since its rebirth in 2024. The tournament returned that year for the first time since 2019 and was named the 2024 Junior Tournament of the Year by the Louisiana Tennis Association.
The 2025 iteration of the tournament brought nearly 200 youth tennis players and their families from 15 different states to the Shreveport-Bossier community for the weekend – including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.
Tournament Format
The singles draw will feature up to 32 entries per age group, and the doubles draw will have up to 16 pairs per age group. Singles will be a flighted “feed-in consolation” format with two draws of 16 players per division, while doubles will be one non-flighted single elimination draw per age group.
Girls 12U, 14U and 16U and Boys 14U and 16U will be played on clay courts, while Boys 12U and Boys and Girls 18U will be played on hard courts. Practice courts for tournament participants will be available at tennis centers in the Shreveport-Bossier area, with the availability being announced at a date closer to the tournament.
Admission to all match sites will be free and open to the public for the entirety of the tournament.
