Big 12 Conference to be Primary Tie-In for 2023 & 2025

The current Bowl Season tie-ins are in effect through the 2025-26 season, but with the BYU Cougars moving to the Big 12 Conference this year, the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl will feature the Big 12 as a primary tie-in for the 2023 and 2025 Radiance Technologies Independence Bowls.

FREE Independence Bowl Youth Football Clinic on June 3

For the 12th time, the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl will host our annual free Youth Football Clinic – hitting the new turf at Independence Stadium on Saturday, June 3 from 8-11 a.m.

1st & Give Charity Flag Football Tournament Raises Nearly $4,000 for Local Non-Profits

The Independence Bowl Foundation hosted its annual 1st & Give Charity Flag Football Tournament on Saturday, May 6 at Independence Stadium, raising money for five local non-profit organizations.

Winning Team of Inaugural Innovation Bowl Announced

The inaugural Radiance Technologies Innovation Bowl is in the books, as groups presented their final projects to Radiance Technologies representatives in Huntsville, Ala. in April.  

Drew Maulsby Named Director of Partnership Development

The Independence Bowl Foundation welcomed the newest staff member to Shreveport on April 4 – naming Drew Maulsby as the organization’s Director of Partnership Development.

Independence Bowl Donates $5,000 Apiece to Two Local Schools

The Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl completed its nearly $56,000 in education funding on February 13 – presenting $5,000 checks each to Fairfield Elementary Magnet and Bossier Parish School for Technology & Innovative Learning. The $5,000 grant was awarded to each school to support programs to promote teacher retention, recruitment and recognition.
