Public Tickets Now on Sale for 46th Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl

 

SHREVEPORT, La. (Sept. 15, 2022) – There are just under 100 days until the 46th Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl on Friday, December 23 at 2 p.m. CST, and public tickets are now on sale.

Individual tickets, group tickets, premium ticket packages, game day parking and more can now be purchased online at RadianceTechnologiesIndependenceBowl.com/tickets or by calling the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl office at 318.221.0712 or toll-free at 888.414.BOWL.

Individual tickets start at just $30 apiece for Endzone Bench seats, and a select number of Sideline Chairback seats have been released for public purchase. The ticket options and pricing are as follows:

  • Endzone Bench: $30
  • Sideline Bench: $45
  • Sideline Chairback: $65 ($50 for sponsors and qualifying Foundation members)

Sideline Chairback, Sideline Bench and Endzone Bench seats are available at RadianceTechnologiesIndependenceBowl.com/tickets. Sideline Chairback seats are available to the general public for $65 apiece and to bowl sponsors and qualifying Independence Bowl Foundation Members for the regular price of $50. The Chairman’s Club is a high-end hospitality option, which is an exclusive South Endzone Tent that includes all-inclusive food and beverage and one VIP parking pass for every four Chairman’s Club tickets purchased. Chairman’s Club tickets are $200 apiece.

A bevy of other ticket packages will be available online or by calling the bowl office – including group tickets, the Family Four-Pack and Small Business Fan Pack. These packages will go on sale in the coming weeks. 

Family Four-Packs are available for the sideline chairback, sideline bench or south endzone bench seats. The Sideline Chairback Family Four-Pack is $280, Sideline Bench Family Four-Pack is $200, and Endzone Bench Family Four-Pack is $140. All Family Four-Packs receive the following benefits:

  • Four tickets (Sideline Chairback, Sideline Bench or Endzone Bench)
  • Four shuttle passes
  • Two personal pizzas from Johnny’s Pizza House
  • Free appetizer at Twisted Root Burger Co.

The Small Business Fan Pack is a great option for small businesses to reward their employees or clients with sideline bench tickets to the 2022 Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl. The Small Business Fan Packs are available online or by calling the bowl office. The package comes with a minimum of six tickets, and the tickets are $45 apiece. Additional tickets can be added in increments of two. The Small Business Fan Pack comes with one shuttle pass per game ticket or one White Lot parking pass per six game tickets.

Group tickets are another ticket option available, and groups who purchase 20-or-more Endzone Bench seats will once again receive half-price tickets at the special rate of $15 apiece.

Premium lots – including the Brown, Gold and Silver and – are available  online for $27 apiece ($25 through the bowl office), and the Blue Lot is available online for $12 apiece ($10 through the bowl office). Blue lot parking will be available on game day for $15 apiece.

Established in 1976, the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl™ is the nation’s 11th-oldest bowl game, and the 46th edition will be played on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 2 p.m. CT between Army West Point and a team form the American Athletic Conference. The UAB Blazers defeated the No. 13 BYU Cougars 31-28 in the 45th Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl on Saturday, December 18, 2021. The Independence Bowl Foundation announced a one-year extension with Radiance Technologies – ensuring they will be the title sponsor through 2025. The bowl’s conference and team agreements, as well as the television agreement, also run through the 2025 season. Army West Point and BYU are slated to matchup against a rotation of the Pac-12 Conference, American Athletic Conference and Conference USA, which will be televised on an ESPN network.
