Junior Tennis Classic Featured Around 150 Youth Tennis Players from Across North America

For the third straight year, the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl welcomed youth tennis players from across North America to Shreveport-Bossier City for the annual Independence Bowl Junior Tennis Classic. Nearly 150 players from 11 different states, as well as one player from Calgary, Alberta, made the trip to the 318 for the USTA National Level 5 tournament.

The Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl honors one of our nation’s most outstanding and decorated citizens or groups each year with the Omar N. Bradley Spirit of Independence Award, and General Bryan P. Fenton has been named the 47th recipient of the prestigious award. GEN Fenton will be honored at halftime of the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl on Saturday, December 28.

Flying Heart Cares Helps Independence Bowl Raise Over $3,300 through Give for Good

Give for Good 2024 is in the books, and the Independence Bowl Foundation partnered with Flying Heart Brewing & Pub this year to drive more donations to the Independence Bowl Foundation. Flying Heart donated $2,000 to the Independence Bowl Foundation through Give for Good. Including Flying Heart’s and online donations, the Independence Bowl Foundation raised over $3,300 through Give for Good.
