Kickoff Dinner with Holly Rowe Under Two Weeks Away
SHREVEPORT, La. (July 2, 2024) – The annual Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Kickoff Dinner, featuring ESPN’s Holly Rowe, is less than two weeks away. The event is on Monday, July 15 at the Shreveport Convention Center.
Rowe is one of ESPN’s most versatile and highest-profile commentators – seen regularly throughout a wide variety of programs. She has been featured regularly on high-profile events and programming for ESPN and ABC, including Saturday Night Football and the College Football Playoff, Big Monday men’s college basketball, NCAA Women’s Final Four, NCAA Women’s College World Series, the WNBA and more.
The annual Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Kickoff Dinner featuring Holly Rowe is set for Monday, July 15 at the Shreveport Convention Center. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for a cocktail hour, as well as the silent auction and raffle. Dinner buffets will open at 6:15 p.m., and the program will begin at 7 p.m. – with a Q&A to conclude.

Rowe has broken many barriers in the broadcasting world, including becoming the first female color commentator in Utah Jazz history during their game against the Sacramento Kings in October 2021.
She has had a tremendously decorated broadcasting career, winning the 2022 Sports Emmy for Outstanding Personality/Reporter and the 2022 Mel Greenberg Media Award from the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. Rowe was also named the 2023 Curt Gowdy Electronic Media Award Winner for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma in 2016, Rowe has become a dedicated advocate for cancer research and prevention.
