2024 NFL Draft: Six Independence Bowl Alumni Selected
The 2024 NFL Draft is in the books, and a new crop of Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl alumni have achieved their dreams by being drafted to the National Football League. Six former Independence Bowl players were selected in the seven-round draft.

Give For Good is North Louisiana’s largest annual day of giving, and Give for Good Day is quickly approaching on Tuesday, May 7. Online giving opens today, April 23 and will end on Give for Good Day. Winning Team Selected for the 2023-2024 Radiance Technologies Innovation Bowl
The 2023-24 Radiance Technologies Innovation Bowl has come to a close with teams from The University of Utah and Louisiana Tech University presenting their final projects in person to a panel of Radiance Subject Matter Experts at Radiance’s Headquarters in Huntsville, Alabama on April 9, 2024.
131 Youth Tennis Players Flock to Shreveport for Youth Tennis Classic
The Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Junior Tennis Classic returned this past weekend, April 6-7, for the first time since 2019, and 131 youth tennis players representing 13 states flocked to Shreveport to compete in the USTA National Level 5 Tournament.
Youth Football Clinic Returns to Independence Stadium on June 1
Each June, the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl hosts its free Youth Football Clinic for boys and girls from ages five through incoming eighth-graders – offering local kids the opportunity to learn from regional college football coaches. The 13th Annual Youth Football Clinic will return on Saturday, June 1 from 8-11 a.m. at Independence Stadium.
Junior Tennis Classic Two Weeks Away
For the first time since 2019, the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Junior Tennis Classic will return to the Shreveport-Bossier area, and the tournament is two weeks away from hitting the courts on Saturday, April 6.
Independence Bowl Foundation Welcomes 2024 Executive Committee and Board of Directors
The Independence Bowl Foundation announced the 2024 Executive Committee and Board of Directors, including Claire Rebouche of Willis Knighton Health as 2024 Chair, at its Thursday, March 7 Annual Membership Meeting. The Independence Bowl Foundation Executive Committee and Board of Directors features many of the top leaders in the Shreveport-Bossier area.

Junior Tennis Classic Returns for First Time Since 2019
For the first time since 2019, the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Junior Tennis Classic will return to the Shreveport-Bossier area. Tournament play will hit the courts Saturday, April 6 through Monday, April 8.
$11,000 Donated to 23 Local Teachers Through Touchdown for Teachers
The Independence Bowl Foundation partnered with the College Football Playoff Foundation’s Extra Yard for Teachers to donate to local teachers following the 2023 Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl with their initiative Touchdown for Teachers, and a total of $11,000 was donated to 23 local teachers through Touchdown for Teachers.
Four Former Independence Bowl Players Crowned Super Bowl LVIII Champions
On the biggest stage in the sporting world in Las Vegas, four former Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl players were crowned Super Bowl LVIII champions as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco Giants, 25-22, in overtime.
