The college football season is just days away, which means the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl is right around the corner. Public tickets to the 48th playing of Shreveport’s annual bowl game are on sale now.
Current or Former Pac-12 Team to Play in Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl in 2024
The Pac-12 Conference and the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl announced today that the Pac-12 tie-in will remain for the 2024 Bowl Season, as current Pac-12 and former Pac-12 teams will be eligible for selection by the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl.

The Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl will kick off on a Saturday night in primetime for the second consecutive year, as the 48th edition of college football’s 11th most historic bowl game is set for Saturday, December 28 at 8:15 p.m. CT on ESPN.
Flying Heart Cares Helps Independence Bowl Raise Over $3,300 through Give for Good
Give for Good 2024 is in the books, and the Independence Bowl Foundation partnered with Flying Heart Brewing & Pub this year to drive more donations to the Independence Bowl Foundation. Flying Heart donated $2,000 to the Independence Bowl Foundation through Give for Good. Including Flying Heart’s and online donations, the Independence Bowl Foundation raised over $3,300 through Give for Good.
13th Annual Youth Football Clinic One Month Away
The 13th Annual Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Youth Football Clinic is just one month away, as boys and girls from ages five to 13 will hit the field at Independence Stadium on Saturday, June 1 from 8-11 a.m.
2024 NFL Draft: Six Independence Bowl Alumni Selected
The 2024 NFL Draft is in the books, and a new crop of Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl alumni have achieved their dreams by being drafted to the National Football League. Six former Independence Bowl players were selected in the seven-round draft.
Give For Good Online Donations Open Now
Give For Good is North Louisiana’s largest annual day of giving, and Give for Good Day is quickly approaching on Tuesday, May 7. Online giving opens today, April 23 and will end on Give for Good Day. 131 Youth Tennis Players Flock to Shreveport for Youth Tennis Classic
The Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Junior Tennis Classic returned this past weekend, April 6-7, for the first time since 2019, and 131 youth tennis players representing 13 states flocked to Shreveport to compete in the USTA National Level 5 Tournament.
Youth Football Clinic Returns to Independence Stadium on June 1
Each June, the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl hosts its free Youth Football Clinic for boys and girls from ages five through incoming eighth-graders – offering local kids the opportunity to learn from regional college football coaches. The 13th Annual Youth Football Clinic will return on Saturday, June 1 from 8-11 a.m. at Independence Stadium.
